Rafting and Raft Rentals

We do short introductory trips near Anchorage for $50 for getting our clients accustomed to the raft and general safety. Our specialty though, is the guided fly-out raft-fishing trips starting at $899 for a two-day trip down the liesurely Kustatan River.

For rentals, (unguided) we provide two types of rafts: either the 13" Aire Super Puma or the 14' NRS Otter. Both are $75 each per day. We can equip either of these with oars or paddles. The rafts come only with pumps and safety rope, unless geared for oars. We prohibit our rafts from being used on a class III, and take no responsibility for injuries or accidents that occur on your unguided trip.

Rafting the Kustatan

We outfit our 14' NRS Otter rafts with up to four paddlers on the all-you-can-fish four-mile float down the Kustatan River. This trip offers the luxury of traveling at the river's pace. It is suitable for all ages as long as you are healthy. It is a showcase for silver salmon fishing for any skill level. We provide tents, fishing gear and flight service.

This is an interactive trip. Everyone participates as a team, with the rafts and camp duties. We may encounter wildlife and wilderness situations. Everyone is on the lookout. Alcohol is permitted on this trip. There is no white water, and is considered a liesure "float." For this trip, you will need your fishing lisence, change of clothing, waders, and sleeping bags.
