Because the silver and sockeye salmon population in the Big River Lakes area has been depleted to minimal levels over the past 20 years, we no longer take clients there. In hoping to promote sustainable fishing models, we encourage you to leave the fish in this area alone for a while and urge the guide services still operating there to help protect these areas. In doing so, we may still have a chance to rebuild the population and continue to enjoy the wildlife habitat.
